Refund Policy

We want you to be sure before you keep BytesJoy. This policy is part of the License Agreement; if they differ, the License Agreement controls.

Full refund within 14 days

You can have your license fee refunded in full, for any reason, within 14 days of purchase, as long as you have not downloaded a generated project. Designing in the builder, generating code and viewing it on screen do not affect your refund; a download does, because at that point you have the product.

After a download, or after 14 days

Once you have downloaded a project, or once 14 days have passed, the fee is not refundable, except where the law where you live requires otherwise, or where the code does not build and run as documented and we cannot fix it (see Section 6 of the License Agreement).

How to ask

Email support@bytesjoy.com from the address on your account and say you'd like a refund. No form, no reason needed. We reply within two business days, and Stripe returns the money to your original payment method, which usually takes 5–10 business days to appear.

What happens to your license

A refund ends your license: code generation and downloads on your account close as soon as the refund is issued. Your designs stay in your account, and you can buy again later.

Chargebacks

If something is wrong, please ask us first: a refund request is faster than a card dispute, and it doesn't put your account on hold. While a chargeback is open we pause the license; if the dispute is decided in our favour the license stays closed.
